Waiting for my rocket to come


I'm Marlena and my absolute favorite thing in the entire world is to learn about the universe.
I love astronomy,sports,animals, and making bracelets. I never have time for it though, and I'm always tired from lack of sleep. That's about it :)

For those of you that have attended Warped Tour already, you might have noticed the guys in The Maine, A Rocket To The Moon, and This Century wearing t-shirts that say “BE THE EXAMPLE”. This is an awesome campaign they started to help promote a healthy, positive lifestyle for their fans.

This is a great example of doing something right when you have such an influence over so many kids. I commend their efforts in helping set things straight with a very superficial and shallow scene. It’s time that we all start realizing, before we can change the world, we have to change ourselves first. You can’t sit around and wait for someone else to set an example for you so you can follow that. You can be the example for everyone else, if you would like to.

im going to set an example by showing that its okay to live your life. you only have one life. why are we wasting all of this time trying to make ours years perfect? why dont we just make them fun healthy and positive? none of the other stuff is going to matter when we’re in our death bed. thanks boys. and i’d love to buy one of those shirts!

I’m going to set an example by showing everybody that I’m going to be myself, and like it. If you’re not yourself, then you’re probably not very happy. and being happy is a very important thing in life.
